Perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b )
= 2(3x + 2 + 5x + 4)
= 2(8x + 6)
= 16x + 12

Area = l × b
p(x) = (3x + 2)(5x + 4)

Let p(x) = 0
then,
=> 3x + 2 = 0
=> x = -2/3

or x = -4/5

both are negative, so rejected

abhinavkmj65: bro he only asked for perimter not for area and all. You will make it enamel..

given sides: 3x+2 and 5x+4
   let one side be 3x+2 and second side be 5x+4
 perimeter of triangle : 2(side1 + side2)
   2(3x+2+5x+4)
2(8x+6)
= 16x+12 is the perimeter of triangle
