Answer:

Length of wire = 4a

= 4 × 66 cm

= 264 cm

Now,

circumference of circle = Length of wire

2 π r = 264 cm

r = (264 cm) / (2 π)

= 42 cm.........(take π = 22/7)

Radius of circle is 42 cm.

Given :–

  • Side of a square = 66cm.
  • The same wire is loop in the form of a circle.

To Find :–

  • Radius of a circle.

Solution :–

First, we have to find the length of wire.

So,

Length of a wire = 4a

  • Side = a = 66cm.

→ 4 × 66cm

→ 264cm

Now,

We have to find the radius of a circle.

According to the question,

• Circumference of circle = Length of a wire.

It means,

• 2πr = 264cm

Let,

\pi =  \dfrac{22}{7}

→ 2 ×  \dfrac{22}{7} × r = 264cm

→ r =  \dfrac{\cancel{264} \times 7}{2 \times \cancel{22}}

→ r =  \dfrac{\cancel{132} \times 7}{\cancel{2} \times 11}

→ r =  \dfrac{\cancel{66} \times 7}{1 \times \cancel{11}}

→ r =  \dfrac{6 \times 7}{1 \times 1}

→ r =  \dfrac{42}{1}

→ r = 42cm.

Hence,

The radius of a circle is 42cm.
