perimeter of square = 22 x 4 = 88cm

circumference of circle = 2 x 22/7 x r = 88

6.28 x r = 88
r = 88 ÷ 6.28
= 14.01 cm ans

The radius of circle is 14 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square = 22 cm

Perimeter of square =4 \times Side = 4 \times 22 = 88 cm

Perimeter of circle = 2 \pi r = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r

A wire is bent to form a square of side 22 cm. The wire is rebent to form a circle.

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of circle

88 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r

\frac{88 \times 7}{2 \times 22}=r

14 = r

Hence The radius of circle is 14 cm
