we know that the resistance is directly proportional to its length if we double the length resistance will also increase and if we decrease the cross-sectional area we know that areas is reversible proportionalso if we decrease the area so resistance will always increase so overall answer is Resistance increases resistance increases resistivity will decrease

shreya480: can u give the solution numerically for increase in resistance and decrease in resistivity
shubhita: yeah sure fit for a moment can you please mark me as a brainliest I really really need them
shreya480: yes sure i will
shubhita: yeah I have done can you please now keep your promise
shubhita: hey have you gone
shubhita: hey how can you do this you have promised me that you will
shreya480: shubhita i would definitely love u mark u as brainliest but there has to be another answer then only I can do that. if someone else answers the question i will mark u as brainliest u can ask any of ur frnd to give the same ans and then i would be able to keep my promise
shreya480: and also shubhita i asked for the numerical solution meaning i want the magnitude of increase and decrease see the question it says by how much
