Length of rectangle= 40 cm
Breadth of rectangle= 22 cm

ATQ,
Perimeter of rectangle= Perimeter of square

So, perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
=2×(40+22)
=2×66
=132 cm

Perimeter of square,
4 \times side = 132 \\ side =  \frac{132}{4}  \\ side = 33cm
Therefore, Side of square is 33 cm.

Area of rectangle=l×b
=40×22
 = 880 {cm}^{2}

Area of square
(side) {}^{2} \\  = (33) {}^{2}   \\  = 1089 {cm}^{2}

Therefore, Square covers more area than rectangle.

Hope it helps you.

Hey Mate!!

Given
Length of rectangle=40cm
Breadth of rectangle=22cm

As per the question,
Perimeter of rectangle=Perimeter of square

So, Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
=2(22+40)
=2×62
=124cm

Now, Perimeter of square
 = 4 \times side
So, One side
 = \frac{132}{4} \\ = 33cm
Area of rectangle =l×b
=22×40
=880cm^2

Area of square = (side)^2
=33×33
=1089cm^2

So square covers more area than rectangle.

Hope it helps.
