As we know how much , perimeter of rectangle will be that is just equal to the perimeter of square

let a be the length of its one side then

Perimeter of Rectanglular wire = perimeter of Square

=> 2( l+b) = 4a

=> 40 + 22 = 2 a

=> 2a = 62

=> a = 32
Hence the measure of each side is 32 cm
