Perimeter of rectangle = \sf{2×(l+b)}

\sf{2×40+22}

\sf{2×62}

\sf{124cm}

Perimeter of square = 124cm.

\bf\therefore \bf\frac{p}{4}

=>\bf\frac{124}{4} = \bf{31cm.}

Area of Rectangle = \sf{l×b}

\sf{40×22cm}

\sf{880cm}².

Area of Square = \sf{Side×Side}

\sf{31cm×31cm}

\bf{961cm}²

\sf\therefore Square, encloses more area.
