★ Perimeter of square = 124cm.

$\bf\therefore$ $\bf\frac{p}{4}$

=>$\bf\frac{124}{4}$ = $\bf{31cm.}$

★ Area of Rectangle = $\sf{l×b}$

$\sf{40×22cm}$

$\sf{880cm}$².

★Area of Square = $\sf{Side×Side}$

$\sf{31cm×31cm}$

$\bf{961cm}$²

$\sf\therefore$ Square, encloses more area.
