Let the length of the rectangle be 7x

Let the breadth of the rectangle be 4x

Perimeter of rectangle = Length of wire

= 2 × ( 7x + 4x)

= 22x. – ( 1 )

Now,

it was initially in a shape of circle whose, r = 34.5 cm

Circumference of the circle = Length of the wire

= 2 π r

= 2 × 3.14 × 34.5

= 216.66 cm. – ( 2 )

Equating equations (1) and (2), we get

22x = 216.66

x = 216.66 / 22

x = 9.85 cm

Ans : Length of the rectangle = 7x = 68.95 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 5x = 49.25 cm

Hope the solution is clear to you!!
