Side of the square = 10cm
length of rectangle = 12
Breadth of rectangle = b

Area of square = Area is rectangle
4a = 2(l+b)
4×10 = 2(12+b)
40/2 = 12+b
b = 20-12
b = 8 cm

10
perimeter of the sq=perimeter or the rect
4s = 2(l+b)
4 ×10= 2×12 +2×b
40 = 24 +2b
40-24= 2b
16 = 2b
b= 16/2
  = 8cm
