Answer:

Length of square L=20cm

Length of rectangle l=24cm

Breadth of rectangle b=?

Now, perimeter of square=perimeter of rectangle

⇒4(L)=2(l+b)

⇒4(20)=2(24+b)

2

80

=24+b

⇒40=24+b

⇒16=b.

Breadth of rectangle b=16 cm

Side of square = 20 cm

Perimeter of square = 4 x 20

                                     = 80 cm

Length of rectangle = 24 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (l+b)

b = 40 - 24 = 16 m

Hence, the breadth of the rectangle is 16 m.
