a wire is in the shape of rectangle its length is 32 cm and breadth is 28cm if the same wire is rebent in the shape of square what will be measure of each side also find which shape encloses area?​

According to the question,

Perimeter of square=Perimeter of rectangle

⇒4× side=2(length+breadth)

⇒4×side=2(32+28)

⇒4×side=2×60

⇒ side= 120/4

=30cm

Thus, the side of the square is 30cm.

Now, Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth = 40 × 22 = 880sq.cm

And Area of square = side × side = 30x30 = 900 sq.cm

Therefore, on comparing, the area of square is greater than that of rectangle.
