Given,

  • Side of the square = 4 cm

To find,

  • Circumference of the circle

Solution,

A wire is in the shape of a square of side 4cm which is bent to form a circle then the circumference of the circle is 16 cm.

As we know, when a wire is in the shape of a square of side 4 cm which is bent to form a circle, then the perimeter of the square = Circumference of the circle

Perimeter of the square = 4* side

The perimeter of square = 4* 4

                                         = 16 cm

Then, the circumference of the circle = 16 cm.

∴ The circumference of the circle is 16 cm.

Hence, a wire is in the shape of a square of side 4cm which is bent to form a circle then the circumference of the circle is 16 cm.
