Hey Mate___

Here is the answer

▶️GIVEN PERIMETER= 20cm

▶️P=2*(L+B)

▶️20= 2*(L+B)

▶️10= L+B

MiNiMuM area-

IF L-1cm ,B-9cm , Area=9cm sq.

MaXiMuM area-

IF L-5cm , B-5cm , Area-25 cm sq.

HOPE THIS HELP!

ALL THE BEST!

A wire of length 20 cm.

∴ Perimeter of the wire = 20cm.       ( given)

By bending the wire we have to form a rectangle.

Area = 2 ×(L+B)

20= 2 ×(L+B)

\frac{20}{2} = ( L + B )

10=( L+B)

Now we will find minimum area-

It is only possible, when( L=1cm ,B=9cm) or ( L=9cm, B = 1cm) ,

Then area will be =( L ×B)= (1cm ×9cm) =9cm²

Hence the minimum area will be 9cm²

Now we will find maximum area-

It is only possible, when( L=5cm ,B=5cm)

Then area will be =( L ×B)= 5cm× 5cm= 25cm².

Hence the maximum area will be 25cm².

Ans :-  Minimum area will be 9cm², and Maximum area will be 25cm².
