The rectangle of maximum area can be made when both length and breadth has least difference.
Total length of wire = 20
L = 10 & B = 10
Area = L × B
= 10 × 10
= 100 sq. cm
The rectangle of least distance can be made when there is maximum difference between length and breadth i.e,
L = 19 & B = 1
Area = L × B
= 19 × 1
= 19 sq. cm
Hope it helps.
