Let length of wire be x .

Let width of wire be 2x

Perimeter = 42 cm

2(L×B)=42

2 ( x+2x)=42

x + 2x = 42 ÷ 2

3x = 21

x = 21 ÷ 3

x= 7.

So, Length = x =7

Width = 2x = 2 × 7 = 14.
