Total length of Wire= Perimeter Of Rectangle
Let Its Breadth = 'x'
So Its Length = 'x+7'
Perimeter Of Rectangle= Total length of Wire [Perimeter = 2(l +b)]
2(x + x +7) = 86
2x + 7 = 86/2
2x + 7 = 43
2x = 43 -7
2x = 36
x = 18 cm

Therfore Breadth = 18cm
Length = x + 7
             = 18 + 7
             = 25 cm

Define x:

Let the breadth be x

the length = x + 7

Form the equation and solve for x:

Given that the perimeter is 86 cm

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

86 = 2(x + 7 + x)

86 = 2(2x + 7)

86 = 4x + 14

4x = 86 - 14

4x = 72

x = 18

Find the length and the breadth:

Breadth = x = 18 cm

Length = x + 7 = 18 + 7 = 25 cm

Answer: The length is 25 cm and the breadth is 18 cm
