As the wire is bent in to rectangle, perimeter of rectangle is equal to length of wire ,

Perimeter = 2×( l + b ) = 86 cm

➡️l + b = 43 cm ......(1)

Given that length is 7cm more than breadth, then

➡️ l = b + 7

Substitute in (1)

b + 7 + b = 43

2b = 36

➡️ b = 18 cm

➡️ l = 25 cm
