A wire of resistance 10 ohm is drawn out so that its length is thrice its originals lenght . Calculate its new resistance

l₂=3 ˣ l₁
R₁=ρL₁/A
R₂=ρL₂/A
    =ρ × 3 l₁/A
    =3×ρL₁/A
    =3R₁
therefore new resistance = 3 times original resistance
