length of semicircle = πr

resistance per unit length = 12ohm/metre = 0.12ohm/cm

resistance of πr length will be = 0.12*πr ohm

now it is connected in parallel with another half of the same resistance..

Req. = (0.12πr)(0.12πr)/ 2(0.12πr)

Req. = 0.06πr

Req. = (0.06)(10)π

Req. = 0.6π ohm
