Total resistance = 20 ohm
Now it is bent in a square so the resistance of each side is 5 ohm
R1 and R2 are in parallel
1/R5 = 1/5 + 1/5 = 2/5
R5 = 5/2
again the Resistance of R3 and R4 is 5/2 ohm
so the resistance = 5/2 +5/2=10/2 = 5 ohm
Now it is bent in a square so the resistance of each side is 5 ohm
R1 and R2 are in parallel
1/R5 = 1/5 + 1/5 = 2/5
R5 = 5/2

so the resistance = 5/2 +5/2=10/2 = 5 ohm
