Here Is Your Ans

*****

Let the woman's Present age be X

Then son's present age will be ( X- 30)

15 years ago

Woman was ( X - 15)

Son was (X-30) - 15 = X-45

But

According To The Question

W = 2 (S) ----- (15 years ago )

(X-15) = 2 (X-45)

X-15 = 2X - 90

X - 2X = - 90 + 15

- X = - 75

Multiplying both sides by (-)

X = 75

So the present ages are

Woman = 75 years

Son = 75 - 30 = 45 years

Answer: Woman = 75 years

Son = 45 years

Step-by-step explanation:

PRESENT DAY

Woman = y years

Son = x years

Given: y - x = 30 ------- (I)

15 YEARS AGO

Woman = y - 15 years

Son = x - 15 years

Given: 2(x - 15) = y - 15

= 2x - 30 = y - 15

= 2x - y = 15 --------- (ii)

Solving equation (I) and (ii) simultaneously

2x - y = 15

-x + y = 30

------------------

x. = 45

Hence y = 30 + x

= 75

Hence in the present the woman is 75 years and the son is 45 years old.

Hope this helped
