let's consider the current age of

son is x

then his mother's age must be 7x

according to the question

7x+5 = 4(x+5)

=>7x+5 = 4x+20

=>7x-4x= 20-5

=>3x = 15

=> x=5

current age of son 5

mother's age-7×5 = 35

after 5 years son's age will be-(5+5)=10

& mother's age will be (35+5)=40 which is 4 times of her son's age.
