A woman underestimated the cost of a pair of shoes and her percentage error was 183/4%. If the actual price of the shoe was N64, what was her underestimate?​

Solution :-

→ Actual price of shoes = N 64

and,

→ % error = 18(3/4)% = (75/4)%

then,

→ Total error = (75/4) % of N 64 = (64 * 75)/(100 * 4) = N 12 .

therefore,

→ Her underestimate cost = N 64 - N 12 = N 52 (Ans.)
