according to the question, A woman works 8 hrs daily anf complete a work in 12days.

now we have to find in how many days will the same work will be completed is she works 6 hours daily.

it's in inverse proportion as we know that when one thing increases, the other one decreases.

here, if she work for more hours, then her work will be completed in less days and if she work for less hours, then her work will be completed in more days.

let her working hours per day be x and no. of days be y.

therefore x1y1 = x2y2
>> 8 × 12 = 6 × y2
>> (8 × 12)/6 = y2
>> 8 × 2 = y2
>> y2 = 16

hence, if she works 6 hours daily, then her work will be completed in 16 days.
