According to first condn

4/100×x were bad
According to second condition
x-4x/100(remaining eggs) -75/100(x-4x/100)=96
On solving this furthur...you'll get answer 4

Number of eggs she bought  = 96/ (100 - 75%) / (100 - 4%)

                                                  = 96 / 25% / 96%

                                                  = 96 / 25/100 / 96/100

                                                  = 96 * 100/25 * 100/25

                                                 = 400.
