so,

→ Length of each piece * Total piece = Length of total plank - Length remains .

→ x * 3 = 10 m - 100 cm

→ 3x = 10 * 100 - 100

→ 3x = 1000 - 100

→ 3x = 900

→ x = 300 cm.

→ x = (300/100)

→ x = 3 m. (Ans.)

Hence, Length of each piece will be 3 m.
