A wooden article was made by scooping out a hemisphere from each end of a solid cylinder ... if the height of the cylinder is 10 cm and it's base is radius 3.5 cm . Find the total surface area of the article . Plz answer me ...

height=10cm

Now,

⇒Total surface area of article = Curved Surface area of cylinder+2x area of hemisphere

=2 x 22/7 x r x h + 2 x 22/7 x r²

=2 x 22/7 x 3.5 x 10 + 2 x 22/7 x 3.5 x 3.5

=2 x 22/7 x 35 + 2 x 22 x 0.5 x 3.5

=44 x 5+ 44 x 1.75

=44(5+1.75)

=44 x 6.75

=297 cm²
