A wooden log is 3m 48cm and another wooden log is 3m 140mm long. What is the total length of both the logs?

Given

Length of first wooden log = 3m 48cm

Length of second wooden log = 3m 140mm

To find

Total length of both logs ?

Solution:-

Here, We convert 140mm into cm

So, \sf\cancel\frac{140}{10}cm\:=\:14cm

\therefore Length of second block = 3m 14cm

Now, Total length = Length of 1st log + Length of 2nd log

\implies 3m 48cm + 3m 14cm

\implies 6m 62cm

Hence, Total length of both logs is 6m 62cm
