Hi

Days taken by B to complete work = 12 days

As A is faster than B, so he will finish the same work before 12 days i.e. before B which is = 12/2 = 6

Hence A will finish in 6 days.

Together (A+B ) will finish work in = (6+ 12 )/2

= 18/2

= 6 days

Thanks

Hope it helped
