given = force (F) = 15N

          distance (d) = 10cm

to find :-

torque = ?

solution,

torque =  d × F

     

convert  the values in the simple form /unit.

10cm = 0.10m

50cm= 0.50m

torque = F × d

           =  15 ×  0.10 × 0.5

           =  7.5Nm
