let the side of a square = a= 14 cm
perimeter of the square = 4a = 4*14 = 56cm -----(1)
let the rectangle length = 4x
breadth = 3x (since ratio of l and b = 4:3 given)
perimeter of rectangle = 56cm (from (1) same wire)
2(l+b) = 56
2(4x+3x) =56
2*7x =56
x= 56/2*7
x= 4cm
therefore
length = 4x = 4*4 = 16cm
breadth = 3x = 3*4 12 cm
perimeter of the square = 4a = 4*14 = 56cm -----(1)
let the rectangle length = 4x
