(a) Advantage of decision making in the family:

  • Concerns from all the members is heard to all the ears in the family.
  • A child gets a freedom to decide what he/she wants.
  • All get what they want with or without compromise.

Disadvantage of decision making in the family:

  • Fight can be broke very easily.
  • They conflict all the advises and interest of the parents.

(b) Parents questions to kids:

  • Cuisine they want to eat
  • Movie they want to watch
  • Holiday they want to go
  • Subject they want to study

(c) Advice from writer to parents:

  • Writer wants the parents to listen the children silence and concern.
  • Writer wants the parents to spend quality of time with them daily.
  • Write wants the parents to step into the children's world and be a part of it.

(d) Author's view:

The author is cent percent correct in the all concerns regarding decision taking in the family and parents part in a child's life.

I would say that a parent should atleast spend half an hour with the children as it prevents the children from falling into bad hands and depression.
