A write up on the social, cultural and economic status of Indian women
Answers
Explanation:
Indian women are having a strong status at a time, including all factors such as social, cultural, and economic. Ancient scripts suggest that women were married at a mature age and were free to choose their husband.
But, after a certain period of time, their recognition and the way people look at them(other's perspective) grew smaller and smaller, until there was none at all! They were not allowed at public events! They were not allowed at service and legal meetings. They were getting vulnerable every second.
Then, came a few great women, who shook the world with their actions and speech. Slowly, people started believing in them, and their status once again grew. But, us Indians did not. We still considered them inferior and followed many other social evils which is not supposed to prevail in a developing society. So, right now, In some parts of this huge and diverse India, where jobs have been lost, women's LFPR(labour force participation rate) has fallen drastically, from 49.4 percent in 2005 to 24.6 percent in 2018. We are still trying to improve this percentage, and it is slowly increasing. Right now, it is stable, but not quite fully a 100%. Women are doing jobs in major companies, but there aren't as many as men. So, roughly speaking, the status changed like this over time. [ good - okay - bad - super bad - bad - okay. ] Lets try and make it the way it is supposed to be. Thank you.
