roots were a and 1/a

send the term of x towards lhs and also divide x^2 term and constant term which were already towards lhs. now simply divide the whole equation with coefficient of x^2.here it is a. then you will get an equation with coefficient of x^2 and constant term as 1.from there use the formulae of quadratic roots. thats it. you will get a and 1/a as roots.
