A young Infant may be feeding on mother's milk which is qhite in colour but th stools which the infant passes out is quite yellowish. What is this yellow colour due to?

The yellowish colour in an infant's stool is because, the milk drunk by the baby passes through the stomach that secretes hydrochloric acid which is yellow in colour. Therefore the stool after digestion shows the presence of excess hydrochloric acid that looks yellow.
