Zinc is more reactive than copper. ,therefore it displaces copper from copper sulphate solution and forms zinc sulphate .
✡ Zn + CuSO4 --- ZnSO4 + Cu ✡
↪ It's single displacement reaction.
↪ The blue colour of copertina sulphate will turn it brown zinc sulphate.
