Let a^2-b^2=7 be equation (1)

& a^2+b^2=25 be equation (2)

From equation (1)

a^2=7+b^2

Substitute above equation in equation (2), we get,

7+b^2+b^2=25

7+(2*b^2)=25

(2*b^2)=25–7

(2*b^2)=18

b^2=18/2

b^2=9

Substitute the value of b^2 in equation (1),

We get,

a^2–9=7

a^2=7+9

a^2=16

Thus, a^2/b^2=16/9

a/b=√(16/9)

a/b=4/3.
