Answer:

Speed=5m/s or Speed=18 km/ hr

Explanation:

Speed= distance/time

so, speed= 500 m/100 second= 5m/s

for converting speed into km/hour, you should know that 1km=1000 metre or 1 metre=1/1000 metre so for 5metre in km it will be 5/1000 metre that is 0.005km

similarly for time...you should know that

60 second is in 1 min

so in 1 second there will be 1/60 min

60 min is in 1 hour so 1 min will be in 1/60 hour and 1/60 minute will be in 1/3600 hour

So overall in 1 second we can say there is 1/3600 hour. So after putting value of per second that is 1 second as 1/3600 you will get final equation as

speed=0.005km/1/3600 hour

or speed= 0.005×3600= 18km/hr

i hope it will help....feel free to ask any query related to solution in comments..

Answer:

500m in 100 second means 5m/s

multiply this with 18/5 to convert m/s into km/hr

so

5*18/5 = 18km/hr
