Answer:

(i) The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 2.5 hours is 150 km

(ii) The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 0.5 hours is 30 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The speed of car driven by Aarushi = 60 km/h

( i ) The time period = 2 hours 30 min

i.e  T = 2.5 hours

Let The distance cover with 60 km/h speed = D_1 km

∵ Distance = Speed × Time

i.e D_1 = 60 km/h × 2.5 h

D_1 = 150 km

So, The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 2.5 hours = 150 km

( i i ) The time period = \dfrac{1}{2}  hour

i.e  t = 0.5 hour

Let The distance cover with 60 km/h speed = D_2 km

Distance = Speed × Time

i.e D_2 = 60 km/h × 0.5 h

D_2 = 30 km

So, The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 0.5 hours = 30 km

Hence, (i) The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 2.5 hours is 150 km

            (ii) The distance cover with 60 km/h speed in 0.5 hours is 30 km
