Aastha takes 15 minutes to cover a distance from point A to B & another 20 minutes to cover a
distance from point B to C on a bicycle. If the bicycle has a speed of 2m/s, from A to B & 3 m/s from
B to C. Calculate the total distance between A to C.

Time taken to reach school = 15 minutes = 15 × 60 seconds = 900 seconds

Speed = (Distance travelled)/ (Time)

Distance = (Speed x Time)

= 2 x 900 =1800m

Also 1km= 1000m

Therefore 1800x (1/1000) = 1.8km.

The distance between her house and the school is 1.8 km.
