OA = 13cm

Therefore, AP = AB/2

= 24/2

= 12cm

Using Pythagoras theorem in traingle AOP

(Hypotenuse)^2 = (Perpendicular)^3 + (Base)^2

(OA)^2 = (OP)^2 + (AP)^2

(13)^2 = (OP)^2 + (12)^2

169 = OP^2 + 144

OP^2 = 169 - 144

OP^2 = 25

OP = √25

OP = 5cm

Therefore, the value of OP is 5cm.
