∆ABC and ∆PQR are similar. ∆ABC is dilated by a scale factor of 1.25 and rotated 45° counterclockwise about point B to form ∆PQR. The side lengths of ∆ABC are , 5 units; , 4.2 units; and , 4 units. Match each side of ∆PQR to its length. 5.25 units arrowRight 5 units arrowRight 6.25 units arrowRight

The new triangle PQR will be formed when the triangle ABC will be dilated  by a scale factor of 1.25

AB corresponds to PQ

Length of AB=5 units, the length of PQ will be:

PQ=5*1.25=6.25 units

BC corresponds to QR

Length of QR will be:

QR=4.2*1.25=5.25 units

CA corresponds to RP

CA=4 units

RP will be:  4*1.25=5 units
