Given : ∆ABC ~∆AQR. AB/AQ=7/5

To Find : which of the following option is true.

A) A-Q-B

B) A-B-Q

C) A-C-B

D) A-R-B

Solution:

ΔABC  ≈ ΔAQR

=> AB and  AQ are collinear

AB/AQ  = 7/5

Let say  AB = 7k

then AQ = 5k

7k > 5k

=> AB  >  AQ

=> AB = AQ  + QB

Hence Q lies in between A and B

A-Q-B   is the correct option
