AnswEr:-

Your Answer Is 60°.

ExplanaTion:-

Given:-

  • An equilateral triangle ABC.

  • AB is parallel to CD.

To Find:-

  • The value of x.

Concepts Used:-

  • All angles of an equilateral triangle are always eqaul to 60°.

  • Alternate Interipr Angles [AIA]:- Alternatively Interior Angles are always equal.

  • Linear Pair:- Sum of Angles making a straight angle is always equal to 180°.

So Now,

Since ABC is an equilateral triangle,

↦ <A = <B = <C = 60°... (1).

And,

Since CD ।। AB,

↦ <A = <DAC

[AIA]

<DAC = 60°... (2).

[From (1)].

Also,

↦ <C + <DAC + x = 180°.

[Linear Pair].

↦ 60° + 60° + x = 180°.

[From (1) And (2)].

↦ 120° + x = 180°.

↦ x = 180° - 120°.

x = 60°.

Therefore The Required Value Of x Is 60°.

Answer:

x = 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since,

AB = BC = AC ....... ( Given )

therefore , it is an equilateral ∆ .

So, angleA = angleB = angleC = 60°

Now,

BA || CD and BC is a transveral

so,

angle ABC = angleDCO. ... ( Corresponding angle)

60° = x

Hence,

x = 60°
