In an isosceles triangle,
2 sides will be equal and the third side will be different.
given right angled at c in triangle ABC.
By pythagoras theorem,
AB^2 = AC^2 + BC^2
AB^2 = AC^2 + AC^2 [ AC = BC ( isosceles. triangle)]
So,
Ab^2 = 2AC^2
Obviously
AB = 2 AC.
Hence proved.
Hope this helps you.
