ab^2=ac^2+bc^2
it is given ac =bc
ab^2=ac^2+ac^2
ab^2=2ac^2

In ∆ABC :—

AC=BC.........................①

∠ C=90°

AB² = AC² + BC²............(By Pythagoras Theorem)

From ①:—

AB² = 2AC²

Hence, Proved.
