Since both triangles are congruent,
AB/PQ=BC/QR

4/6=BC/9
BC= (4*9)/6
=6 cm

Given:

In ∆ABC ~ ∆PQR, AB = 4 cm ,PQ = 6cm and QR =9cm

To Find:

BC = ?

Solution:

We know that,

∆ABC ~ ∆PQR

AB = 4 cm ,PQ = 6cm and QR =9cm

So, in two similar triangles,

AB/PQ = BC/QR

By substituting values, we get

4/6 = BC/9

Simplifying this, we get

BC= (4 x 9) / 6 = 36 / 6 = 6 cm

Hence, BC has a length of 6cm.
