s×s = 16×16=256

Now area of square ABCD:-

area of square PQRS + area of square ABCD

=3969+256= 4225

therefore, s×s=4225

which implies that s=root of 4225

therefore s= 65

now perimeter of square ABCD = 4 × s :-

4×65= 260cm

which is the required perimeter.
