As summation of all three angles of a triangle is 180° (π radians)

So,
angle CBD + angle BDC + angle DCB = 180°

Now,
side CB = side CD
So,
angle CBD = angle BDC

Therefore,

2(angle BDC) + angle DCB = 180°
2(angle BDC) + 40° = 180°
2(angle BDC) = 140°
angle BDC = 70°
--------------------------------------------------

Now, as ∆ ABD is an equilateral triangle,

There all three angles of ∆ ABD will be 60°

Thus,
angle ABC = angle ABD + angle DBC
angle ABC = 60° + 70°
angle ABC = 130°
--------------------------------------------------

Answer:

angle BDC = 70°

angle ABC = 130°
