ABCD is a parallelogram. ABEM is a rectangle on the same base AB as shown in the figure. if AB = 3cm and BE= 7cm find the area of the quadrilateral ABED.​

Answer:

22.5 cm2

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to find the total area of the quadrilateral and then we have to subtract it to get the final result.So the area of the square is 21 cm2,and we have to minus it with the triangle ADM which is 7/2 cm2.

So after subtracting the triangle from the rectangle the net result is 22.5.
